What Foxy's Potion Shop is

Foxy's Potion Shop is a cozy shop-keeping sim about a fox who brews potions for the residents of a magical forest. You live in a small cabin, work the cauldron, and take requests from the forest folk — brew this potion, this many — and get paid in the game's paw-shaped currency, shown simply as the little paws in your counter. Between jobs you decorate the cabin and let a twelve-page collection book fill up as you meet more of the forest.

It is free to play, single-player, and built to run at your own pace: the store page lists Mouse Only play and "Playable without Timed Input", and the whole download is under 250 MB. It was made by a small studio in France — Cold Coffee Studio — with the original concept and all the visuals by The Foxy Guiz, whose idea the game is.

The loop, in order

1. Read the request. A panel shows who is asking and what they want, in plain language — official shots show lines like "Brew 1 Weak healing potion" or "Brew 1 Fire resistance potion" with a counter underneath, so you always know the target before you start.
2. Brew it at the cauldron. The cauldron sits in Foxy's kitchen. The store describes unlocking new ingredients over time, which is how new potions come into reach.
3. Deliver and get paid. The request settles with a short line of dialogue and a payment in little paws. A wandering merchant also drops by to trade — "Hello! I'm an itinerant merchant" is one of the trailer's lines.
4. Spend it on the cabin, then go again. Furniture, objects, souvenirs, and your potion-crafting and magic equipment are all listed as customizable on the store page.

About the launch

Foxy's Potion Shop released on Steam on September 29, 2026, free to play, for Windows. It ships with eleven interface languages (English carries the full audio) and Steam features including achievements and cloud saves. The store page's own description of the vibe — meet the people of the forest, answer their requests, unlock ingredients, brew, sell — matches everything the screenshots show.
